MIRPUR INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
MIMS was established by Dr. Muhammad Akram Choudhary in 2018 for the public Benefit and is recognized all over. Mirpur Institute of Medical Sciences started with 2 years Paramedical Diploma courses and now offers Fsc in medical technologies and 4 Year Degree Program in 8 Disciplines of Allied Health Sciences as well.
MIMS is first private institute to offer 2 year Paramedical Diploma courses & 2 year Dispenser course affiliated with Punjab Medical Faculty in AJK.
MIMS offers Fsc in medical technologies Affiliated with the AJK BOARD Mirpur.
MIMS proudly offers 4 years Degree Programs in 8 disciplines of Allied Health Sciences affiliated with AJK University Muzaffarabad.

During 38 Years Services of Medical Profession it was my desire to develop an ideal Institution for health care professionals of different categories having good moral character with sufficient knowledge of their respective fields,quality education, so that they will serve their community in side Pakistan but at the same time also having ability to compete all over the world. I am thankful to Almighty Allah, who is very kind, merciful has provided us a chance to develop a state of art institution for health care professional training.

Dr. Muhammad Akram Choudhary – Chief Executive
Having Qualified MBBS from Nishtar Medical Collage Multan, Joined AJK Health Department as Medical Officer in 1978. Later attained Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health from College of Community Medicine Lahore, got promoted in Administration Cadre of Health and served in Different positions like DHO, MS, ED and Director General Health Services for many years. Now further to contribute having experience of many years, joined this institute. Since there is dire need of properly qualified and trained health care professionals in the state of AJK, management of this institute has rightly taken this initiative of arranging quality education for the desirous students of the area. A sustained all time conducive environment in all respects has been created in the premises of Institute to cater present and future needs of degree classes. Aim of this entire endeavor is to improve quality of life of our people through integrating new innovations in quality health care and at the same time providing opportunities for better future to our talented generation.
